‘JB’ stands for Jordy van den Berg, owner of JB Group. After working for several years at a technical company, he decided it was time to take a new path. In 2006, he began handling the repair and overhaul of pumps within his father Ferry’s company, Van den Berg Kasverwarming, before taking on the work independently.
Due to the company’s rapid growth, Jordy and his father decided in 2007 to continue as two separate businesses. This led to the creation of JB Pompen. The activities quickly expanded beyond just repairing and overhauling pumps. JB Pompen became a supplier of various brands and types of pumps, designing, installing, and maintaining booster systems, pump wells, and complete pumping systems — nothing was too ambitious!
In 2009, FOG System was established, producing high-quality high-pressure misting systems for horticulture — which proved to be a success. After more than 10 years and building up 600m² of business space in Monster (WL), it was time for the next step: a new facility in Honselersdijk (WL) of over 1,500m², fully equipped for the future. From this new location, JB Group was born and has grown in recent years with a variety of products.
Over the years, JB Group has continuously evolved. Requests increasingly came in from various sectors asking whether JB Group also provided filtration systems. And so it was done! In recent years, Jordy van den Berg, together with Erwin van Mastrigt (Operational Director), developed a high-quality system for filtering contaminated drainage water. This was another great success, and in early 2023, Jordy and Erwin launched the brand STS. STS offers sustainable, high-quality technological products specifically designed for the horticultural and industrial sectors.
In 2025, Chris van Hulzen joined the team as our new Technical Director. With his professionalism and extensive expertise in water technology, the team is now complete. Thanks to Chris, JB Group can deliver even higher levels of quality, service, and innovative solutions. He brings not only technical knowledge, but also fresh ideas that contribute to the company’s further growth, prepare us for future challenges, and expand our focus to the international market.
